100 Days Project - 25/100
A quarter of the way through the 100 days project challenge! Today I used some sticky-back craft foam to make some more stamps, I had to test them out on some Gelli® mono-prints.
I also decided to make a print directly from an orange onto the Gelli® plate.
With the orange now covered in paint I didn't want to waste it, so it forms part of today's still life sketch.

100 Days Project 24/100
Today's sketch is a running shoe.
Luckily my project is to make at least print a day (not make only one) because you can't just make one can you!
These are all multi layered Gelli® mono-prints.

100 Days Project - 23/100
Today's sketch of some feathers is related to today's Gelli® mono-print. I photocopied the page with the feather drawing from my sketchbook and then cut out a feather to make a mask and stencil for this 3 layered print.

100 Days Project - 22/100
Today's print is a mono-print made on a glass sheet. Extra colour was added with Inktense.
Of course I couldn't just make one!
Today's sketch is of a cowrie shell necklace.

100 Days Project - 21/100
Today's print is on fabric. I used satin which has a very smooth surface which gives a crisp print. The print was made with a lino block and Gelli® plate with PanPastel and acrylic paint.
A bunch of keys is the subject of today's graphite drawing.

100 Days Project - 20/100
20 days or 1/5 of the way through the 100 days project. I wonder is we are 1/5 of the way through lockdown? Sadly I don't think so. This print today is an image transfer using the Gelli® plate and a laser photocopy of a collage page from my sketchbook.
Today's sketch is of an empty vodka bottle!

100 Days Project - 19/100
Today's sketch is of my daughters mini remote control car.
The print today should look familiar. It's an image transfer print of one of my earlier sketches.

100 Days Project - 18/100
Today's prints are made with a combination of lino block printing and Gelli® mono-printing with a paper stencil. Getting everything lined up is the hard part.
The coffee pot is today's sketch in graphite.

100 Days Project - 17/100
This mono-print / screen print combo has been brightened up with Inktense pencils.
A knife, fork and spoon are today's sketch subject. I did a blind contour drawing first to really get to know my subject.

100 Days Project - 16/100
Today's print is not a new one but a print from yesterday which has been worked into with Prismacolor pencils.
I decide to continue working in an Etch A-Sketch style for today's sketch of some vases.

100 Days Project - 15/100
Today I have been finishing off my prints started over the last few days. I'm finding out how I can combine screen printing with mono-printing, block printing and Gelli® mono-prints. Most of my prints are black and white at the moment but I think I will add colour to some of them to increase the contrast. I'll also have a go at using other coloured printing inks.
Today I decided to try sketching in the style of an Etch-A-Sketch toy. Can you identify a bottle of glue, some sunnies and a spray bottle?
