I'm still working my way through the Creative Sketchbooks course from DMTV. My pages are getting more art journal like with a combination of drawing, painting, printing and photos. This sketchbook is nearly full, I'll film a journal flip for you when it's finished.

Glittering Gold

This week on DMTV they were adding faux gold leaf to sketchbook pages. I thought "why stop at that", got out the gold leaf and gilded everything in sight including prints, sketches, handmade paper and fabric.

I found the leaf adhered best to fabric with a tight weave or fabric that already had a layer of acrylic paint on it. I tried out double sided tape and gilding glue and both worked well. I'll work into these samples more in the next few days.
