Sketchbook Pages

I'm still working on the Creative Sketchbooks online course from DMTV. Here are some of my latest pages. This piece above makes use of some freezer paper stencils collaged with sponge prints and watercolours. 

This page combines a digitally altered photo with pen drawing, Gelli print and graphite.

These flowers are made with ink, dye and soluble graphite.

This page has a bleached ink drawing with digital photo, Gelli print, acrylics and paint pens.

Print + Collage + PhotoShop

I'm working on some designs that may eventually get made into a textile piece. I've used my latest batch of deconstructed screen prints and paper collages. I scanned the fabrics and papers into PhotoShop and played around with layering and repeating them in different ways to make these potential designs. Check back to see what happens.

Repeats

I took some of my drawings and repeated them in different ways using PhotoShop. So nice to do this quickly on a computer unlike the old days of photocopy, (which involved going to the copy shop!) cutting out with scissors and gluing down.

And just for fun I made this little composition of several drawings.

Playing With PhotoShop

I've been playing with PhotoShop brushes combined with some of my drawings. I have never been formally taught to use the program, I'm just playing to see what I can do!
