The dye pot has been out again, this time using a yellow-orange-red-magenta colour palette. All these fabrics will be for sale at new months CQG.

 The last few days I have been hand dyeing fabrics in a blue-green-yellow colour palette. All these will be for sale at next Contemporary Quilt Meeting.

Curved Quilting Workshop

 

Today I attended a WAQA workshop on curved piecing by Jan Rowe. Here are my blocks so far. I’ll eventually sew them all together to make a quilt top.

WAQA Exhibition - COVID QuiltWest

 

The usual exhibition for West Australian Quilters Association was cancelled this year due to COVID.  Luckily we were able to have an exhibition on a smaller scale. The piece above is my entry. It is made with deconstructed screen printing, mono-printing, block printing, hand dyed fabrics, Inktense pencils, foiling, reverse applique, free-motion machine stitch and hand stitch.
