Today I added some bleach to my inky painting (see previous post). I made sure to use drawing ink which is not waterproof unlike acrylic or Indian ink. Where the bleach as been applied the ink turns a lovely orange colour. In areas of watercolour paint the bleach gives a lighter colour effect. Inktense pencils are permanent once dry so bleach has no effect on them. You can see the before and after below.
I did a quick test on some dye in my sketchbook. The colours are really vibrant and the bleach works well. More experiments to come.
