Rubbings and Water-Soluble

In Creative Sketchbooks I have been making rubbings using a variety of ordinary and water-soluble pencils along with Inktense pencils and blocks.  I've used actual items from my kitchen such as the coffee-maker drip tray, spatula and utensil pot. I also cut out some cardboard shapes and wire shapes to make other shapes such as glasses. Once the rubbing was done I activated some of the pencil or Inktense with water whilst leaving other areas with the original rubbing texture. I like how the rubbings combine with collage like the page above.
