At my textile group this weekend we were supposed to be making felt dolls using a resist. Not being much of a doll person I decide to make mine into vases instead. They are made from wool and silk fibres wet felted with a plastic resist inside. Once the fibres are nearly felted the resist is removed and the vase opened up.
