I've been trying out a few techniques from DMTV on this quilted travel journal. This journal cover was made using the quilt n flip technique which is similar to quilt as you go. Each strip was both pieced together and quilted at the same time. I've added a little applique and free machine stitching for detail. Inside, the pockets feature prairie points inserted into the binding seam. I've tied on some left over fabric strips to decorate the spine.
