Some artworks just grab your attention with colour. These are my favourites from the NGV which I was attracted to because of their often vibrant colours.
This green figure glowed across the gallery
I love the unusual blue of this figure. I often use bright skin colours in my art journals.
Some artworks are all about shape, particularly sculptures and Cubist style paintings.
Some of the paintings appealed to me because they had a great sense of movement, particularly the blowing wind streaming through figures hair.
