Today was not particularly successful in terms of art. I tried out this tutorial for using petroleum jelly as a resist. It's a bit hit-and-miss. Sometimes my paint seemed to rub right off again, other times it was stuck fast. Most of the prints still have a greasy feel.
Without any museums or galleries open to inspire me I'm also running short of things to draw. Today's sketch is of a cat's toy.
I love these prints: they are so rich in colour and pattern.
